There's More to the UA than You May Know
The UA has a strong reputation in the U.S. and, indeed, internationally, thanks to the work of its students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters.
Maybe you are familiar with the Phoenix Mars Mission, but what about the work of UA researchers helping to decode fruits and vegetables like the tomato and banana to help improve crops around the world.
Or you may know about the great accomplishments of student-athletes who have won national championships, Olympic medals and other awards, but what about the innumerable volunteer hours students, faculty and staff invest in working with communities in Tucson and elsewhere?
And it may be obvious that the Wildcat community is making a broad impact in Arizona, but that same is true across the nation and, indeed, in other parts of the world.
